The 2025 season can’t come soon enough and for Buffalo Bills fans, the excitement for what the Bills can accomplish after a solid free agency and draft is real. After making it to the AFC championship game in what should have been a “step back year”, the Bills are coming back for vengeance and are seeking their first Super Bowl appearance in the Josh Allen era.
After going 13-4 last season, the sky's the limit for the Bills and fans are hoping that 2025 is the year that Allen and the Bills can finally deliver a Super Bowl to Western New York. While Bills fans should be excited for 2025, it definitely won’t be an easy journey.
Since the Bills are one of the best teams, they get the pleasure of facing the top teams of other divisions and this is also the season that they are facing the toughest division in football; The AFC North. Not to mention, they are also going to face the Chiefs, Eagles, Texans, and Buccaneers.
Maybe they don’t win 13 games again, but they should have no issue getting to double digit wins again. They haven’t missed out on double digit wins since 2018.
NFL.com has Bills in two Top-10 games heading into 2025
The NFL schedule will be released next Wednesday, May 14th at 8PM EST and we will learn when the Bills will play their designated opponents. However, there are two games that NFL.com is saying that fans should be excited for that involve the Bills.
1. Bills vs. Chiefs
This should be the clear-cut number one game for all fans, not just Bills and Chiefs fans, to watch. It’s always a battle when Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes face off against each other. Allen has always had regular season success, but Mahomes has beaten Allen and the Bills every time in the playoffs since 2021.
Last year’s AFC championship game featured these two teams and there were controversial calls that you could argue that ultimately screwed the Bills, but nonetheless, the Chiefs came out with a 32-29 victory to advance to the Super Bowl (just to get destroyed by the Eagles).
There is never a disappointment between Buffalo and Kansas City when it’s Allen vs. Mahomes and their regular season matchup should be no different. The Chiefs are coming to Buffalo again this season.
2.) Bills vs. Bengals
The Bengals are also coming to Buffalo in 2025 and they are looking to pick up where they left off in 2024 (atleast on offense). Cincinnati signed wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to massive extensions to keep him with Joe Burrow for the future and this trio can cause a lot of damage.
Buffalo and Cincinnati last played against each other in 2023 on Sunday Night Football where the Bengals came away with a 24-18 win against the Bills. The Bills don’t face up against the Bengals real well so this game will be very tough for Buffalo.
