The wait is officially over, Bills Mafia. The Buffalo Bills are hiring Joe Brady as their next head coach as the organization will now move into the post-Sean McDermott era. Brady has been with the Bills since 2023, and was promoted to interim offensive coordinator. Ian Rapoport reported the news and now the Bills can focus on the next steps moving forward.

Fans shouldn't be surprised by this move as Brady knows Josh Allen personally, and knows the Bills overall as he has been there for some time now. Brady and the Bills agreed on a 5-year deal and now this head coaching search is over.
This may cause some reactions, both good and bad about the hiring, but now is the time to give Brady a chance to see what he can do with the team he knows very well. Now, it's time for Brady to get to work and his first move as head coach should be very obvious,
Joe Brady's first move as new Bills HC is painfully obvious
In his first move as the new head coach of the Bills, Brady must attack the biggest problem with this team; which is getting someone who can fix this defense that was horrible. While it was Sean McDermott running the defense, it was Bobby Babich that was the defensive coordinator. With the Bills going in an offensive-minded approach, the Bills must bring in a strong defensive coordinator.
Ideally, Brady should be looking outside of the building for this hire. An intriguing name is Raheem Morris, who was the Falcons' head coach the last two seasons. However, he was a strong defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams from 2021-2023.
Brady has to get this hiring right so that he can focus on all the operations, while also helping this offense continue to grow with Josh Allen. Time to get to work, Brady.
