Bills' nail-biting win vs. Ravens should very much scare Kansas City Chiefs

It's Buffalo's time to shine.

There is no better feeling than Victory Monday for the Buffalo Bills as they earned a hard-fought win against the Baltimore Ravens. It was closer than Bills fans would have wanted it to be, but we should give tight end Mark Andrews a quick shoutout for basically helping the Bills advance in the playoffs.

The Bills continue their season for atleast one more week and there is no better opponent to face than the team who has owned them in the playoffs; the Kansas City Chiefs. After taking down the Houston Texans in a game where there were a lot of questionable calls in favor of the Chiefs, Kansas City will host their third consecutive AFC championship game in Arrowhead.

Buffalo’s victory over Baltimore is a lot more impressive than Kansas City’s win over Houston for various reasons. The Ravens are more physical on both sides of the ball and they have a dynamic duo in Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Not to mention, the Ravens absolutely crushed the Bills in the regular season. As far as Kansas City, Houston’s only biggest threat was their pass rush in Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr.

Even though the Bills barely won, it should put some fear into the Chiefs

Think about it…the Bills were a little sluggish in the second half. They failed to get into the endzone and even push the ball down the field (but never turned the ball over). They relied on Tyler Bass’ leg to help them get past the Ravens in the second half. By all means, Josh Allen didn’t have a spectacular day in the air. However, he did tie Tom Brady for the second most postseason rushing touchdowns (7).

Buffalo did the opposite of what they normally do. They got off to a good start but then barely hung on for the win. Usually they get off to a slow start and explode in the second half. Knowing that the Bills are able to show that they can start and finish strong, it’s reassuring. All that they need to do is put the pieces together at the right time against the Chiefs.

The Bills already defeated the Chiefs earlier this year in Week 11, 30-21. Now granted, that was in Orchard Park. Buffalo will now have to find a way to leave Kansas City with a huge win and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl in front of a rowdy Chiefs Kingdom.
