When the Buffalo Bills traded for D.J. Moore on Thursday from the Chicago Bears, started the revamp of the wide receiver room for the Bills. Sure, Moore may not be the ultimate dynamic receiver that fans wanted, but Moore is extremely valuable and has had a ton of production that gets overlooked just because of how last season went in Chicago.

Fans should remember that Moore hasn’t missed a start in his last five seasons and he is just two seasons removed from having over 1,300 yards with Justin Fields as his quarterback in Chicago. Even with Buffalo trading a 2nd-round pick for Moore, he is an upgrade for their receiver room but the Bills should not be done adding.

The Bills also released Curtis Samuel earlier today, making it more of a known fact that Buffalo needs more wide receiver help. With free agency starting next week, the Bills need to be keeping track of the wide receiver market, and Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone has an ideal signing for the Bills even after acquiring Moore.

Bold WR prediction should be one Bills' priorities in free agency

Scataglia has listed Buccaneers pending free agent wideout Mike Evans as a target for the Bills to acquire in free agency, and it would be a solid pickup now that Buffalo wouldn’t need Evans to be a No. 1 wideout.

"Even after trading for DJ Moore, the Buffalo Bills should keep their foot on the gas and sign someone like Mike Evans. A wide receiver room featuring Moore, Evans, and Khalil Shakir would be quite dangerous and finally give Josh Allen some legitimate help." said Scataglia.

Evans is coming off his first season of his career where he didn’t post over 1,000 yards, and it was due to injury. He only played in 8 games, but was still productive. He is on his way to the Hall of Fame, and he already has a Super Bowl ring to show for it. While Tampa Bay is still a potential contender in the NFC, they have now lost control to the Panthers and both the Saints and Falcons are not far behind.

If Evans does indeed hit the free agency market, talking to Buffalo should be on his to-do list because the Bills have been in win-now mode for what seems like a long time now. Adding him to this offense to pair with D.J. Moore and Khalil Shakir give the Bills so many different routes on how the offense can look.

Not to mention, the Bills would be getting a fantastic redzone receiver and Evans could be the mentor that Keon Coleman needs in order to grow as a player on and off the field. A potential pairing of Evans and the Bills makes a lot of sense.
