I have a great feeling that Buffalo Bills fans are going to like Elijah Moore being a member of the Bills. Last week after the NFL Draft was completed, the Bills wasted no time hosting Moore on a free agent visit and then two days after the reported visit, both sides agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $5 million.
Moore joins the Bills after spending the last four years in dysfunctional situations with the Jets and Browns. He was drafted to the Jets but his frustration of the lack of involvement led to him being traded to the Browns. While he did have more success in Cleveland, it was a rotating door of quarterbacks with no stability. Now he gets a major upgrade with Josh Allen.
Moore is joining a room that didn’t have a ton of speed, but just enough to get by. Now the Bills have someone who can take the top off of the defense and open up the field. However, we have just learned that maybe offense won't be the only thing that Moore will be apart of.
Bills may have just acquired a 2-for-1 deal with Elijah Moore
According to Alex Brasky, Moore spoke with the media and talked about how he would like to “have more opportunity to return kicks” and went into detail about how one of his “gifts is have the ball in his hand”.
Elijah Moore says he would love to have more opportunity to return kicks with #Bills: "I would love to do that more... the rules changing make it more intriguing... one of my gifts is having the ball in my hand... I would probably be more intrigued with kick return." #BillsMafia

If one thing is true about the Bills, they love players who are versatile and can provide competition. With Moore expressing interest in contributing on special teams as well as also being a pass-catcher for Josh Allen, Brandon Beane might have just secured a versatile player who can help out in two of the three phases of the game.
Now of course, the Bills already have two return specialists in Laviska Shenault and Brandon Codrington. However, Moore might just push them to perform even better in training camp. Special teams has been average at best for the Bills but under new coordinator Chris Tabor, this unit might have just gained a big positive with Moore.
While Moore should be utilized more for the offense, it doesn’t hurt to see what he has to offer on special teams. Maybe he plays both receiver and as the starting return specialist. This summer will show us.
