The Buffalo Bills haven’t missed a beat on offense in their first two games against the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. They have put 77 points in a matter of four days between both games, and now they have extra rest to get prepared for a tough Week 3 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bills are back in Orchard Park and it will be their second game in the new Highmark stadium. Let’s hope that they can repeat their Week 2 performance.

Going into Week 3 against the Chargers, the biggest storyline that fans will be following along with is whether or not DJ Moore will be available, who suffered a shoulder injury in the first half against the Lions and missed the rest of the game. While the injury isn't considered a long-term one, he may not be ready to go for the Chargers game.

If that is the case, rookie receiver Skyler Bell may finally get his opportunity.

Skyler Bell may hear his name called for Week 3

Joe Brady told the media on Friday that Bell's time is coming, and that he "kind of follows DJ [Moore] on everything he does" per Andy Young of Spectrum News 1.

Bell has yet to be a gameday active this season. It doesn’t really help that he missed a majority of the preseason due to an injury and only played in the final one against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now granted, he made the most of that opportunity that included 7 catches for 49 yards as well as a 28-yard rushing touchdown.

It's not necessarily a bad thing that Bell has been inactive, but fans are hoping to see what he can bring to the offense sooner than later. If he was active, that would have meant that someone else like a Keon Coleman or Joshua Palmer would have more than likely been ruled inactive.

Now with Moore dealing with a shoulder injury, there is the chance that he won't be playing against the Chargers. If that is the case, Bell should hopefully get the nod to suit up and get involved in the offense. If that does indeed happen, that's the kind of opportunity that Bell can't waste.

When Bell was drafted by the Bills in the 4th round back in April, fans were extremely excited because not only did the Bills bring in wide receiver help, but Bell has the versatility to play inside and out. Not to mention, he also showed that he can be the jet-sweep option.

Fans should be closely paying attention to Moore's practice status this coming week because if he isn't close to 100%, then there is a chance that Bell could get his opportunity against the Chargers.
