Kickoff from Pittsburgh is coming here very soon and the Buffalo Bills are in a must-win situation to stay alive in the AFC playoff picture. Earlier this week, bothe Spencer Brown and Dion Dawkins were ruled out, putting the Bills in a very tough spot up front in the trenches. Now, Josh Allen will once again not have his starting tight end in Dalton Kincaid, per the Bills' PR team.

Kincaid will miss his third consecutive game and his fourth overall. The third-year tight end has had some shining moments in a crucial year for him, but his lack of availability is really hurting his chances for the Bills to pick up his fifth-year option in the offseason.

Bills offense will miss Dalton Kincaid once again

You could make the argument that Kincaid has been one of the few bright spots for this Bills passing attack. He has four touchdowns on the season and two games with 100+ yards. The Bills will be rolling with Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes, and Keleki Latu who was elevated from the practice squad.

Going into this game against Pittsburgh, not having one of Josh Allen’s top targets is only going to hurt this offense even more. While Keon Coleman is set to make his return after being a healthys scratch the last two games, that gives Allen a chance to try and work on that connection, but hasn’t been anything special outside of Week 1.

Buffalo will also be going with Gabe Davis and Brandin Cooks, who was just signed to the team this past week after being released by the Saints, and both of them will try to fill the gap in this passing game. In addition to Kincaid, the Bills will also be going without Joshua Palmer, who is dealing with an ankle injury still and he will miss yet another game for Buffalo.

Unless some sort of magic occurs in the passing game, this could very much turn into a rushing attack for the Bills and that’s where James Cook has the chance to be the Bills’ biggest X-factor to help the Bills win this game.
