The 2026 schedule is here for the Buffalo Bills and while the NFL didn’t give the Bills an easy schedule at all, they also have some bright spots on it as well. Right now, all we know is that the attention will be on the Houston Texans as the Bills will travel to south Texas to take on the Texans in Week 1.
This will be the second consecutive season where the Bills will open their season against a tough in-conference opponent. This season, it will be the Texans. Last year, Buffalo hosted the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. The Ravens were dominating the Bills but in the last five minutes of the game, down by 15 points, the Bills pulled off a miraculous comeback to win 41-40.
Buffalo and Baltimore have been in constant back-and-forth battles since Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson came into the league. However, Allen has been more successful in the playoffs as he is 2-0 against Jackson in those games. When it comes to the regular season, it’s an even balance of who gets the final laugh.
Going into the offseason, Buffalo and Baltimore knew that they would face off against each other again. Now that the schedule is out, fans should see that the Bills were given a major gift that other contenders dream of.
Bills were given big gift ahead of matchup against Ravens in 2026
Buffalo’s bye week is going to take place in Week 7, which is a bit earlier than fans may have wanted. At the same time, the placement of it couldn’t have been better. After back-to-back west coast games from Week 5 to Week 6, the Bills will get a week of rest before getting back into action in Week 8 where they will host the Ravens in Orchard Park.
While the Bills will be getting extra rest and preparation for this heavyweight AFC battle, the Ravens will be in an AFC North battle against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7 before they come to Buffalo.
Baltimore will be battling it out with a division rival, and we all know that the games are harder against a division rival. While that’s happening, the Bills will get the chance to heal and rest up while also getting extra prep for the Ravens. Even though the Ravens are still going to be a challenge for the Bills, Buffalo has that massive advantage of the extra rest going into this game.
