In recent years in the postseason, the Buffalo Bills were always decimated with key injuries to both sides of the ball. This time last year going into a divisional round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, half of the defense was missing due to injury. It’s a much different story heading into this Sunday night when the Baltimore Ravens come to town.

Throughout this week, the Bills were in great shape considering having players like running back Ray Davis and offensive lineman Alec Anderson get injured in last Sunday’s game against Denver. Anderson suffered a calf injury on a routine pull-block. Davis on the other hand was given a bad pass by Josh Allen that led to him getting hit in the head by a defender which took Davis out of the game. Luckily, he was able to walk out on his own power.

With the Ravens coming to town, the Bills are going to need all the help that they can get. The last time they faced them, Buffalo was down three defensive starters, lost Khalil Shakir, and Josh Allen was dealing with a broken hand that he suffered earlier in the month. Now, it’s a different story.

The Friday injury report was released today by the Bills PR team and only one player is questionable; Ray Davis. He was diagnosed with a concussion and has been going through the concussion protocol and he did not miss a single practice this week. He was limited, but he was always on the practice field.

The Bills are in great shape for Sunday night vs. Ravens

Anderson is cleared and ready to go with no injury designation. With Davis standing at questionable, it gives him a shot to suit up for the Bills. However, if the Bills aren’t able to get Davis’ services for Sunday, that will give Ty Johnson more looks behind James Cook. Johnson has a been a strong player for the rushing attack as he fights for extra yardage against contact.

The final inactives list for both the Bills and Ravens will be published 90 minutes prior to kickoff so fans will want to be on the lookout if #22 is ready to go, or if the Bills will be relying more on Cook and Johnson.
