Kickoff is coming up here real soon for the Buffalo Bills and the final inactives have been released for their Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The Bills are still banged up a bit on defense as Ed Oliver and Matt Milano will continue to miss time. This is Oliver’s third consecutive game he will miss and now Milano will miss his second game.
Luckily, the Bills defense should be just fine going up against this overall underwhelming Saints offense but they are still not at full strength. Let’s hope that they can be ready in time for a Week 5 primetime division game next Sunday night against the New England Patriots.
Friday’s final injury report for the Bills only had four names; Matt Milano. Ed Oliver, A.J. Epenesa, and Spencer Brown. Both Milano and Oliver are out, and both Epenesa and Brown were listed as questionable. Well, now we have the final inactives for the Bills.
Buffalo Bills' Week 4 inactives
Per the Buffalo Bills’ PR X account, offensive tackle Spencer Brown is out for this game. However, A.J. Epenesa is active and ready to go. In addition to Brown, Milano, and Ed Oliver, the Bills will also be without Brandon Codrington, Ja’Marcus Ingram, and Landon Jackson.
Not having someone like Brown, who is a great run blocker could limit the Bills a tad bit. While it shouldn’t be the biggest absence, not having him to protect Josh Allen is a bit concerning.
Making his season debut today is wide receiver Curtis Samuel, who has yet to play a single down this season. He’s been dealing with an injury throughout the summer and the start of the season that’s kept him inactive. He’ll suit up today.
Kickoff from Orchard Park is at 1PM. The Bills will be looking to go 4-0 and going up against a winless Saints team gives them a high chance to do so.
