Bills fans will love Keon Coleman's explanation for dominant blocking

When the Buffalo Bills traded back twice in this past year’s NFL Draft, it caused a lot of concern of how serious they were taking the draft. They had traded away Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and let Gabe Davis walk in free agency, which left them a gaping hole at wide receiver.
They then decided to trade back with the Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers out of the first round, and both of them drafted wide receivers themselves (Xavier Worthy and Xavier Legette). However, the Bills may have pulled off a fantastic move looking back on it now.
Former Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman has been outstanding for the Bills the last two weeks, setting career highs in receptions and yards along with a one-hand touchdown grab against the Seattle Seahawks. Since acquiring Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns, Coleman has had more of a bigger part in this Buffalo offense.
Even though the Bills drafted Coleman to give Josh Allen a bigger weapon outside the numbers, the Bills realized this past weekend that Coleman isn’t just a pass catcher, but also a physical player that isn’t afraid of contact.
In last Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, Coleman was seen blocking a defender all the way to the bench which caught a lot of attention of the Bills’ staff, players and fans. His physicality that he showed should get Bills fans fired up.
Keon Coleman is showing he is an all-around football player
On Wednesday, Coleman had talked to reporters and in a video taken by Dan Fetes, Coleman talked about what he does on the field when he doesn’t have the ball:
Seeing the rookie talk about hitting someone when he doesn’t have the ball going to him shows us that he isn’t just about making the big time catches. Instead, Coleman is demonstrating that he is a team-first type of player and is willing to do his job in order for the Bills to have success.
Over the last two weeks, Coleman has really come alive in production and he is looking like a major steal for the Bills. Now it will just be a matter of consistency and whether or not he will be able keep this production up.
