It doesn't look as impressive anymore.

The Buffalo Bills were on top of the world in Week 11 when they defeated the then-undefeated Kansas City Chiefs in Orchard Park. The Bills continued their regular season dominance of the Chiefs, winning their fourth consecutive matchup 30-21 before heading into their bye week.

Josh Allen’s heroic 26-yard touchdown run that put the nail on the coffin put Buffalo’s spirits at an all-time high. Buffalo proved that they are going nowhere and they made a statement by defeating the Chiefs…or did they?

Bills’ victory over Chiefs doesn’t look as impressive anymore

While the Bills enjoyed their bye week and got some extra rest, the Chiefs came back out to the east coast to take on the Carolina Panthers. Going into halftime, the Chiefs were up 20-9 and Chiefs’ tight end Noah Gray was the star of the show with two first-half touchdowns. Once the second half arrived, it became a different ball game.

You would think that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs would easily handle Bryce Young and the dysfunctional Carolina Panthers. That wasn’t the case.

Both teams exchanged a touchdown each in the third quarter and then the Panthers scored 11 points to tie the game with 1:46 left in th 4th quarter. It was the perfect walk-off setup for the Chiefs. In a third-down situation, who else other than Mahomes to step up and make a big play in which he did by scrambling for 33 yards that eventually helped setup a game-winning field goal.

While the Chiefs get their 10th win, it surely was not impressive by all means. Yes, the NFL is a week-to-week schedule but the Chiefs should not be struggling against a team like the Panthers. With this display of football, it makes you wonder if the Bills really beating the Chiefs was a “huge” win.

At the end of the day, a win is a win and we are used to the Bills beating the Chiefs in the regular season. Defeating them and ending their unbeaten streak was satisfying, but now we see that the Chiefs shouldn’t have been undefeated afterall.
