Early on in training camp, the Buffalo Bills have been hit with a lot of early injuries to some key players. Some started right at the start of camp while others have been coming up recently. I get that injuries are part of the game, but with the Bills having a lot early on is getting a bit ridiculous.
At one point, Josh Allen was throwing passes to practice squad guys, who may not even make the roster. He was having to do this because Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, Kaden Prather, and Tyrell Shavers are all dealing with injuries. However, the Bills might be catching a bit of a break with a recent update from general manager Brandon Beane.
According to Ryan O’Halloran, Beane went on Sirius XM and reported that Elijah Moore could be back later on in the week, and Curtis Samuel could be back “sooner rather than later.”
On Sirius XM appearance, #Bills GM Brandon Beane said injured WR Elijah Moore (leg) could be back as soon as Thursday or Friday and WR Curtis Samuel (hamstring) maybe “not that quick but sooner rather than later.”

Bills could start to get some key playmakers back on offense
It’s not a good look that the Bills are dealing with a bunch of injuries, whether they are serious or just more taking it easy. Players are missing reps which means that chemistry on the field is being put on hold. I’m not saying that injuries won’t happen because they happen all the time.
However, having this many injuries before the preseason starts is not a great look for the Bills. While it’s an opportunity for other guys to step up, the last thing fans want to see is the injuries continuing to pile up to the point where the Bills have to bring in camp players just to get through the rest of the summer.
While there is optimism about Moore and Samuel coming back soon, it will be interesting to see what their reps will be once they are back on the field. Samuel has a lot to prove after a disappointing first season with the Bills and Moore brings a lot of speed to this offense after signing a one-year deal.
