Bills fans can only feel anger and even confusion after watching the Buffalo Bills completely lay down and let the Miami Dolphins control their Week 10 game down in south beach. For the first time since 2014, the Bills lost by double digit points to the Dolphins and gave up 30 points in the loss.

While the 30 points given up may look bad on the defense, the Bills defense actually kept Buffalo in the game until De’Von Achane ran for two 35+ yard touchdowns in the 4th quarter to close out the game. At one point, the Bills were only down 16-6, which truly shows that Buffalo’s offense was the main reason why the Bills are now 6-3 instead of 7-2.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bills managed to pick off Tua Tagovailoa twice including on Miami’s first drive. That interception by Cole Bishop should’ve jump started the Bills run to take over this game. Clearly, that was not the end result. However, we should not ignore Bishop who stood out again for the Bills.

Cole Bishop played like a star once again for Bills in Week 10 loss

In Week 9 against the Chiefs, Bishop not only led the Bills in total tackles, but he had 4 pass deflections which included one against Travis Kelce in the endzone. He had a phenomenal game. Now against the Dolphins, he not only picked off Tua on the first drive but he finished second in total tackles behind Jordan Poyer.

He made some great stops and was near the ball a lot, which shows his improvement on awareness on the field. The second-year safety has started to get comfortable on the field and he is showing that the Bills made the right choice to roll with him as a starter.

While Bills fans might be more focused on the negatives from this loss against Miami, atleast they can see that the development of Bishop is finally coming together. He had a bit of a rough start to his career but these last two games have shown tons of promise of what he can do moving forward.
