We haven’t even reached training camp and it’s still not too early to start discussing next year’s college football talent that could be declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft. Unlike this past draft, next year’s class could be very QB-friendly and there is a chance that it could be a more well-balanced class. However, nothing is official until the players declare.

The NFL Draft is always a fun time for fans, even if their favorite teams aren’t picking until later in the first round (whether it be a trade back or if that team is a championship contender). The Buffalo Bills have been picking in the backend of the first round for the last couple of years. Sometimes they have had great hits (i.e. Greg Rousseau) and sometimes they have had big misses (i.e. Kaiir Elam).

The hope is that the Bills will be picking at No. 32 and will be announced as the Super Bowl champions live from Pittsburgh in next year’s draft. While that would be an amazing scene, it would also be fun to see who the Bills would draft to add to their Super Bowl caliber team.

One major takeaway from this past offseason is that the Bills only added one true speedster to their wide receiver room in Elijah Moore. Before signing Moore to a one-year deal, Brandon Beane went onto WGR550 and completely blasted the show with his thoughts on what people are still saying about Buffalo's receiving room. Long story short, don't tell Brandon Beane don't need receivers for 2025. However, a latest CBS Sports 2026 NFL mock draft by Ryan Wilson has the Bills adding speed on the outside in next year's draft.

2026 mock draft has Bills adding a speed option for Josh Allen

In Ryan Wilson’s mock draft, the Bills pick at No. 30 and select Georgia Tech (now Auburn) Eric Singleton Jr. Here’s what Wilson said about Singleton:

"Next-level athleticism, Singleton can contort his body into any form to position himself for the catch, and he plays with a big catch radius for his size. He has track speed out of the blocks and into the second and third levels and hits top end in 1-2 steps. Explosive is the best way to describe his game -- he can stress defenses at all three levels."

I know that Beane feels confident about the receivers for Buffalo heading into 2025, but adding more speed for next year and getting someone like Singleton on a rookie contract is not a bad move at all. The Bills have their big receivers in Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer, and they have a fantastic middle of the field option in Khalil Shakir.

For this season, they will have Elijah Moore as their speedster. However, if they can add someone like Singleton if Moore is only in Buffalo for 2025, it would be a great move moving forward for the Bills.
