B/R predicts Chiefs' downfall will start in Week 11 vs. Buffalo Bills
By Brandon Ray
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming to Buffalo this weekend for an AFC battle against the Bills. This could easily be yet another playoff preview as both teams are at the top of the conference and the winner of this game might be the eventual number one seed going into the postseason.
The Chiefs have yet to lose this year, and they are slowly approaching a year since they have lost a game. That might be coming to an end this Sunday in front of Bills Mafia. In the Chiefs’ nine wins this year, they have only one by double digits twice. Not to mention, Kansas City hasn’t beaten Buffalo in the regular season since 2021.
The Bills are looking to be the team that gives the Chiefs their first loss and Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report recently wrote that the Chiefs could be in for a “wakeup call” against Buffalo.
Bleacher Report has Kansas City's potential downfall starting in Buffalo
"They're now 7-0 in one-score games this year, and they've consistently won despite mediocre play from an undersupported Patrick Mahomes.
- Brad Gagnon, Bleacher Report
Now they have to travel to Buffalo, though, and that will be a wakeup call. It could open the floodgates, and I can also see them losing to the Chargers, Texans, Steelers and/or Broncos later this season."
The Chiefs may only win up to three more games, based on their schedule they have the rest of the season. They will be tasked to go up against teams like Buffalo, LA Chargers, Houston, Pittsburgh, and Denver (who should have beaten the Chiefs last Sunday). All of these teams have the best chance to challenge Kansas City, whether it is for their first loss or even get ahead of them in the standings.
The Bills are the first team that have the chance to start the domino effect for Kansas City. While it is just the regular season, the Bills need to do everything they can to grow their confidence and take down the defending undefeated champions in front of Bills Mafia.
