The Las Vegas Raiders were the biggest surprise in the NFL through the first four weeks, but they look a lot less tough after getting blown out by the New England Patriots in Week 5. While there's plenty of scary talent on the roster like Maxx Crosby, Brock Bowers, Nakobe Dean and others, there are also more than a few players who haven't looked very impactful this season.
The Raiders have proven that they're good enough to not be overlooked, but some players don't require as much attention. These are the players the Buffalo Bills fan base doesn't have to worry about taking over the game on Sunday.
4 Raiders who shouldn't scare
RB Ashton Jeanty
The Raiders have one of the weakest rushing offenses in the NFL. Despite being the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft just a year ago, Ashton Jeanty hasn't done much early in his career. This season, he's averaging 3.3 yards per carry.
Plus, he's dealing with ankle and foot injuries that are clearly slowing him down. The Raiders' offensive line hasn't been anything special this season, so that only makes it harder for him to break off big runs. While it's always possible that he could have a breakout game, the Bills shouldn't be worried too much about Jeanty taking over the game.
WR Jalen Nailor
Jalen Nailor missed Week 5 with a concussion, but he should be back on the field against the Bills. That's not a big deal for the team. The Raiders gave Nailor a $35 million contract in free agency, and he's given them five catches for 52 yards in four games.
The hope was that Nailor was being held back by having to play behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison with the Minnesota Vikings, but right now, he looks like a No. 3 wide receiver at best. If he ends up playing, the Bills won't be focusing the defensive game plan on him. It seems like the best he can do is a couple of catches in a game. Tre Tucker is the only wide receiver on the Raiders' roster who could really make the Bills pay if he's ignored.
CB Darien Porter
Josh Allen has been running all over the field this season, but the Raiders game could be a chance to get the passing game going. Drake Maye just ate the Raiders' secondary alive. Darien Porter looked good to start the season, but got banged up.
He was picked on against the Patriots, and right now, he has a 59.5 Pro Football Focus rating, which is 55th among cornerbacks. Hezekiah Masses was also a candidate here, as he's been really bad in coverage, but he's also capable of making big plays on the ball. Porter is going to see the ball come his way a lot in Week 6.
DT Tonka Hemingway
Defensive tackle was a big need for the Raiders heading into the season, but they decided against doing anything major to address the need. A reason for that was the confidence they had in second-year pro Tonka Hemingway.
Unfortunately for the Raiders, Hemingway hasn't done much. He doesn't have a single sack this season, nor a tackle for loss. His 57.5 PFF grade is 74th among defensive tackles. While he could make a few run stuffs here and there, he's not a player whose name will be heard a ton on the broadcast.
