Another week of football has been completed and for some teams, the time is limited. Teams have already been eliminated and the playoff hunt goes on for a lot of teams. Whether it’s for one of the top four seeds or for a wildcard spot, there is going to be some exciting football coming here in the next three games before the postseason arrives.
For the AFC East, only two teams are true playoff contenders. With how Week 15 played out, the race between Buffalo and New England just got a whole lot more interesting.
Week 16 AFC East schedule
Buffalo Bills (10-4) @ Cleveland Browns (3-11)
CBS - 1PM
The Buffalo Bills are lined up to get a playoff spot atleast in the wild card, but with their huge comeback win against the New England Patriots, they now have a chance at making a run to take back the AFC East. Now they hit the road again to take on the Cleveland Browns, whose only bright spot is Myles Garrett who is very close to breaking the season-high sack record.
While Garrett will more than likely get the record against Josh Allen, the Bills just need to take care of business and leave Cleveland with a win.
Cincinnati Bengals (4-10) @ Miami Dolphins (6-8)
CBS - 1PM
If only both of these teams lived up to expectations that they had coming into this season, this might have actually been a great game. However, both the Bengals and Dolphins have been eliminated from playoff contention so now they will be playing meaningless football down in south beach this week.
New York Jets (3-11) @ New Orleans Saints (4-10)
CBS - 1PM
At this point, these two teams are looking to just get through the season and move onto free agency and the draft. The Jets and Saints are two of the league’s worst teams and they both have been eliminated from playoff contention. It was a bad season for both teams.
New England Patriots (11-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (7-7)
NBC - 8:20PM
Bills fans should be heavily rooting for the Ravens in this game. The Ravens are on their own path to try and clinch the AFC North but they are in a race with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have no choice but to win if they want to get in the playoffs.
If they can beat Drake Maye and the Patriots in primetime and the Bills can take care of business in Cleveland, then the Bills and Pats will be even for the division going into the last two weeks of the season.
