Aaron Rodgers is already delusional about not being wanted

For two years, Buffalo Bills fans have had to hear about how Aaron Rodgers was going to change things for the New York Jets and make them a Super Bowl contender. Well, he missed all but four snaps of the 2023 season, and this year things haven't gone swimmingly for the Jets either, with them sitting with a 3-8 record in Week 12.

While we can sit here and laugh at the Jets for being the Jets, it's not hard to see that Rodgers isn't the same guy that he was toward the end of his Packers career. Even during his final year in Green Bay, it was clear he was slowly starting to decline and that's why the Packers were comfortable moving on from him.

More Bills news:

Rodgers, however, still thinks he can ball out with the rest of them and wants to continue playing in 2025. Not only that, but he thinks he wants to continue playing with the Jets. When asked about if he'd be interested in continuing to wear the Jets' green and white uniforms in 2025, Rodgers responded with, "I think so, yeah".

The even funnier part of all of this is that the Jets have reportedly made it clear that they're no longer in on Rodgers being the guy who turns things around for them. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, Jets players have been "tiptoeing" around the realization that Rodgers isn't the same guy he once was. Russini also reported that Rodgers could end up on IR or be benched. She even went as far as to report that Rodgers could be cut during the season. This is all music to Bills fans' ears.

Aaron Rodgers and the Jets' fractured relationship is comic gold for Bills fans

Meanwhile, the Bills, who many people wrote off after they lost several key players in the offseason, are one of the best teams in the league and still pushing for that number-one seed in the AFC playoffs. Watching the Jets struggle is funny enough as it is but watching that play out when all Bills fans had to hear about the past two years is how they were on the mend makes it even sweeter.

Keep bringing the laughs, Jets. Keep bringing the laughs.
