The Buffalo Bills are still projected to be a championship contender, but their humiliating preseason does not speak very highly of a team that was considered to be one of the best in the business due to their alarming lack of depth in many key areas.

The Bills' 38-0 trouncing at the hands of the Chicago Bears illustrates that without the MVP force multiplier that is Josh Allen, this roster may not be good enough to compete with the best of the best in what has become a very crowded AFC.

These four Bills stood out from the parade of excrement that tried to pass itself off as a professional football team against Chicago. At this rate, it would be a major surprise if any of these four players end up sticking around on the roster.

4 Buffalo Bills who played themselves off the roster in preseason

QB Mike White

White was given a golden opportunity to take full ownership of the QB2 job away from Mitch Trubisky and UDFA practice squad veteran Shane Buechele, but the former New York Jets fan favorite was so poor in this game that it seems unlikely he will ever leapfrog Trubisky.

White completed just four of his 11 passes for 54 yards while being sacked twice and failing to lead the team to any points. Given his limited mobility and penchant for turnover-worthy throws, White's overall status within the Bills organization has likely lost much of its luster.

WR Elijah Moore

In keeping with the theme of former Jets struggling in Buffalo, White's old teammate caught just one pass for five yards. Moore, who has put together a fairly underwhelming preseason, was once again outplayed by Tyrell Shavers. Based purely on preseason play, Shavers looks like a better use of a roster spot.

CB Ja'Marcus Ingram

Any Bills defensive back, starter or not, could end up in this list, but Ingram takes the cake after struggling while the starters were removed from the game. Ingram was cooked by Chicago's backups. The only saving grace he can take away from this game is that everyone else in this secondary shared the same fate.

DT Zion Logue

It takes quite a poor performance to record 31 snaps and just one anonymous tackle when the scoreline was decided, and that is exactly what Logue put on display. Even with a few suspensions kicking in during the regular season, Buffalo may not have any room left over for Logue.
