Spencer Brown

Spencer Brown had a disappointing second season as the team’s start right tackle but the Buffalo Bills clearly still have confidence in the former third round pick. There was some thought that the Bills could draft an offensive tackle early and they had options with Anton Harrison still available in the first and Dawand Jones still available all the way through their pick in the third round.

The Bills didn’t bring in any additional competition for Spencer Brown and it looks like they believe he is set to bounce back next season. It certainly is possible as Brown didn’t really have an offseason or training camp last year as he rehabbed from back surgery. He was more focused on getting his strength back instead of developing as a tackle.

Now entering Year 3, the back surgery should be behind him and the Bills have drastically improved the interior of the offensive line and he should have a new starting guard next to him, either Connor McGovern or O’Cyrus Torrence.
