As April continues to steam towards a close, we are just days away from the highly anticipated 2023 NFL Draft. Like many teams, the Buffalo Bills will be looking to improve their roster, which already ranks as one of the NFL’s best. While the team pretty much already has its roster set, they need to add some more talent to round out the depth chart.

It was a hot topic amongst BillsMafia all off-season about what the team actually needs. The positions of need that stand out the most are linebacker, defensive tackle, offensive line, and wide receiver. The Buffalo Bills front office is extremely quiet when it comes to the draft, and there are virtually zero true reports ever leaked since Brandon Beane has been the general manager.

We can, however, link them to players based on a few patterns that have been established now that the regiment has had multiple drafts. For example, the Bills love offensive linemen with high RAS scores.  RAS stands for “Relative Athletic Score,” so in easy translation, the Bills want very athletic and versatile offensive lineman. For defensive ends, the Bills’ pattern is power rushers. A.J. Epenesa, Greg Rousseau, and Boogie Basham were all premium picks for that position.

The Bills have been linked to numerous players, as has every team, based on interviews, attending pro days, and top-30 visits. Those are all players the Bills obviously have an interest in adding to their team. So, let’s get a closer look at that linkage and gain an overview of those players.
