Buffalo Bills Rumors: 3 new trades to land Bucs WR Mike Evans

Trade Number 3: The Bills part with a single draft pick to acquire Mike Evans
Lastly, the Bills could keep it extremely simple and offer the Bucs a single draft pick for Evans. In this case, it’s a third-round pick, but it comes in 2024. So, the Bills are able to keep the draft compensation they have this year while adding a Pro Bowl wide receiver.
While Diggs is the possession guy and a chain mover, Evans gives the Bucs what they had hoped for in Gabe Davis. The inconsistency of Davis as a deep threat and big play guy was frustrating at times. He would explode on some afternoons, and turn invisible on others.
Evans, though, is a pretty consistent target. His enormous 6-foot-5 frame is enough for Josh Allen to be able to throw it up on scramble drills in faith, knowing Evans will go up and get it. Defenses having to account for both Diggs and Evans, now, will have fits attempting to do so.
Don’t forget, the Bills are a running football team, as they finished in the top 10 in both rushing and passing a year ago. Buffalo will run the ball, but now with two top-tier threats in the passing game, the offense becomes far more well-rounded.
