A.J. Epenesa

Another player who could be made available by the Buffalo Bills is one that was drafted the same year as Gabe Davis. Defensive end A.J. Epenesa was the Bills second round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and similar to the players on this list hasn’t been able to make a consistent impact in the three seasons in Buffalo.

This past season was Epenesa’s best and he did have 6.5 sacks, seven tackles for a loss and 10 QB hits (which were all career highs) but was passed on the depth chart by players like Shaq Lawson.

Epenesa is entering the final year of his contract and teams are always looking for players at a premium position like defensive end with low cap hits. There are certainly teams that could be interested but with a lack of production, the Buffalo Bills may only be able to get a Day 3 pick for the former Iowa Hawkeye pass rusher.
