Buffalo Bills: Ranking the best remaining linebackers targets in free agency
2. Myles Jack
Myles Jack was a second round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft and had a very promising start to his career. He would start 42 games in the first three years in the league and would have 221 total tackles, five sacks and got a four-year extension prior to the 2019 season.
Jack would play three more seasons in Jacksonville and after an injury-shortened season, he had back-to-back seasons with over 100 total tackles. He would be released this past offseason and signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He would start 13 games and once again had over 100 total tackles, along with three passes defended and three tackles for a loss. Jack would be released for the second straight offseason after the Pittsburgh Steelers added free agent linebackers Elandon Roberts and Cole Holcomb.
Myles Jack is a veteran linebacker that certainly could step in as the starter but similar to other linebackers, the biggest concern will be him in coverage. He has allowed QB ratings of 95+ in each of the past five seasons and quarterbacks complete over 70% of passes thrown his way when he is in coverage.
