Buffalo Bills: 5 mistakes to avoid in 2023 NFL Draft

Mistakes the Buffalo Bills must avoid in 2023 NFL Draft: Selecting multiple wide receivers
Wide receiver is a position that can easily attract teams more so than other areas. But, the fact is, the Bills only really have the need to draft one more wideout if they don’t end up making a move for a veteran like Hopkins.
Stefon Diggs is your unquestioned number one, of course. But, beyond him, you have a bunch of three and fours, essentially. One would love to think Gabe Davis finally takes that step into a solidified number two, but he hasn’t made that leap yet. Davis is good for those big, blow-up type games here and there, but other times just disappears.
If the Bills end up with a wide receiver in this draft, great. But, they cannot afford to use two of their six picks on the position. I hesitate to say this, but even if the value is there, it still might not be worth it.
The only reason Beane should even entertain selecting multiple wide receivers is if he able to acquire additional picks by trading back a few times. Even then, the team signed Deonte Harty to come in and be their fourth guy. They still have Khalil Shakir. There truly isn’t room for more than other guy at this point.
