3 reasons the Buffalo Bills don’t have to worry about Aaron Rodgers

Reason No. 2 the Buffalo Bills don’t have to worry about Aaron Rodgers in the AFC East
The next big hang-up on this situation is that Aaron Rodgers is under contract with the Green Bay Packers, so even if he pouts really hard and the Packers don’t want to trade him, they don’t have to.
Rodgers has an out in his contract after this season, but as his contract reads, he’s a Packer until 2026.
Now, NFL contracts are something that seems to not really mean anything, as they can be restructured to matter in different years, but at the end of the day, every contract seems breakable.
But, will the Packers just trade off their four-time league MVP, while also eating a bit of cap?
That’s a harder one to believe.
Not only is Rodgers under contract still, but the Packers are asking for quite a bit of compensation for a quarterback going on 40 years old.
The Buffalo Bills could walk away with this having to face Zach Wilson twice a year instead of Aaron Rodgers, all because the New York Jets weren’t willing to send a couple of first-round picks for a soon-to-be 40-year-old quarterback.
It’s absolutely possible the Packers cause this deal not to go through, but for a guy who played 18 seasons in green and gold, trading him for anything less than what they want seems unlikely.
