NFL free agency started with a flurry on Monday, and the Buffalo Bills both gained and lost.

Buffalo brought in free agent guard Connor McGovern to replace Rodger Saffold, while losing backup quarterback Case Keener and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to the Texans and Bears, respectively.

Josh Allen and Von Miller also saw their deals restructured to provide Buffalo with $32 million in cap relief. Now, the question is, what will the Bills do from here?

One possibility is to make a splash for another offensive weapon, say, Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook?

The brother of James Cook, Dalvin is reportedly on the trade block so that Minnesota can find additional cap relief themselves. But, adding him to Buffalo would reunite him with former teammate Stefon Diggs and of course, his brother, James.

With fans tweeting all day long about how they’d love to see the brothers together, James took to Twitter to express his thoughts as well.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook clearly wants the team to trade for his brother Dalvin

Bringing Dalvin to the Bills would likely mean he takes over starting duties, with James mixed in here and there. But, for the sake of winning a Super Bowl, I’m sure little brother wouldn’t mind that idea.

It would also allow both of them to keep their legs fresh.

The Bills ran the ball quite a bit last year, between Cook, Allen and Devin Singletary. They also made a trade for Nyheim Hines, whom they restructured Monday as well, and adding Dalvin would give them a variety of backs to work with.

In six seasons with the Vikings, Dalvin has rushed for 5,993 yards while catching 221 passes for 1,794 yards. He’s proved he can be electric in either aspect of the game, and at 27 years old (he turns 28 in August) he likely doesn’t have many elite years left in him.

Could the Bills bring him in and allow the brothers to run out of the same back field? Only time will tell, but it would be one heck of a start to this wild free agency period.
