Hassan Ridgeway

Hassan Ridgeway is a player who has never been a full-time starter in his career but recently made an impact with the San Francisco 49ers. He began his career with the Indianapolis Colts after he was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and played three seasons there before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and played three seasons there.

This past season he signed as a free agent with the 49ers and played 12 games and started seven games in the middle of the season. Unfortunately, his season would end early due to a pectoral injury but he had 28 total tackles, one sack and four QB hits prior to his injury.

While the Buffalo Bills would need to make sure the injury won’t impact him moving forward, he is a player that could likely overproduce his contract. This past season, the 49ers signed him to a one-year deal worth $1.8 million and if the Buffalo Bills could agree to a similar contract, this would be a great move for the defense.
