Make no mistake about it. Mami’s defense is no walk in the park for the Bills’ offense.

If the Dolphins have any shot at winning, their defense needs to play as close to lights out as possible. That’s a tall task versus this high-powered Bills offense, but despite injury concerns of their own, Miami’s defense knows they’ll need to keep their team in this one.

Here are a handful of guys who are looking to help fuel the unlikely upset.

Elandon Roberts, linebacker

The Bills must know where Elandon Roberts is at all times. He leads the Dolphins’ defense in solo tackles (68), total tackles (107), and sacks (4.5).

Bradley Chubb, linebacker (questionable)

Bradley Chubb saw some action in Week 18. He missed Miami’s Wednesday practice session with ankle and hand issues but was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. He’s questionable for Sunday.

Christian Wilkins, defensive tackle

Christian Wilkins is a load at six-foot-four and 310 pounds. He ranks third on the Fins’ defense in both solo (59) and total tackles (98). He’s tied for the team’s fifth-highest sack total.

Jevon Holland, safety

Jevon Holland is one of the game’s best young safeties. He’s going to be good for a long time. Josh Allen will need to know where he is at all times.

Kader Kohou, cornerback

Xavien Howard gets a ton of attention, and rightfully so. Kader Kohou is a talented cover man in his own right. He’s also arguably a better tackler.

He’s been dealing with a thumb injury. He figures to play and play well though. He was a full participant at Dolphins practice on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
