Best NFL prop bets for Dolphins vs. Bills in Wild Card Weekend (Lean on Gabe Davis)
The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills will play in a rubber match on Wild Card Weekend.
The Dolphins took down the Bills by a final score of 21-19 back in Week 3, and then the Bills got their revenge in Week 15, holding on to a narrow 32-29 victory in Buffalo.
Tua Tagovailoa has been ruled out for this game and Skylar Thompson is slated to start. As a result, the Bills are pegged as almost two-touchdown favorites.
If you don’t feel like laying that many points, you may want to target some player props instead. That’s what I’m here for. I have a few player props to give you for this Sunday’s showdown.
Let’s jump into them.
Best NFL prop bets for Bills vs. Dolphins
- Josh Allen OVER 50.5 rushing yards
- Gabriel Davis OVER 48.5 receiving yards
- Stefon Diggs OVER 6.5 receptions
Josh Allen OVER 50.5 rushing yards
Josh Allen has relied on his legs more and more down the final stretch of the season. He ran the ball at least eight times in five of the Bills’ last six games, and he reached double-digit rushes in three of those games.
As a whole, Allen is averaging 47.6 rushing yards per game this season. Slightly less than his set total for the game, but with the weight of the game on his shoulders, I expect him to do whatever he needs to in order to get the win. That includes taking off with his legs.
Gabriel Davis OVER 48.5 receiving yards
Gabe Davis has taken over as the deep threat in the Bills passing game. He’s averaging 17.4 yards per receptions, so he may only need a few catches to go over his receiving total on Sunday.
Let’s also remember that he’s averaging 55.7 receiving yards per game this season, well over his set total for the game.
He’s coming off a game against the Patriots where he saw 10 total targets, so expect him to be a big part of the Bills’ offense on Sunday.
Stefon Diggs OVER 6.5 receptions
Stefon Diggs is averaging 6.8 receptions per game this season, right where his catch total is set at on Sunday. He hauled in seven catches in the Bills first game against the Dolphins, and five catches on nine targets in his second game against Miami.
I fully expect Diggs to show up in a big way in the postseason this year, and it’s going to start with him hauling in at least seven passes against the Dolphins on Sunday.
