This weekend, the Buffalo Bills begin their quest for Super Bowl LVII.

It was an unprecedented, unpredictable and wildly dramatic ending to the regular season. But, on to the postseason.

The Bills host the Miami Dolphins in their third matchup of the year; a team which they know very well. In order to get to the Super Bowl, it will be Miami they go through first en route to the divisional round.

Let’s look a bit further at this weekend’s tilt.

Buffalo Bills route to the Super Bowl: Wildcard Round vs. Miami Dolphins

This game will be a bit different than the previous two matchups between Miami and Buffalo, primarily because the quarterback position is going to look unusual. The Dolphins will officially be without Tua Tagovailoa this weekend, but are also still without backup Teddy Bridgewater.

So, it’ll be rookie Skylar Thompson making just his third professional start. Thompson went 1-1 in the regular season with the Dolphins, having to step in late in the year.

The Bills beat Miami by just three in December, and lost early in the year. But, with Thompson under center and the Bills’ rowdy home crowd, I don’t see a way to victory for Miami in this one. Buffalo will have to be careful of the dangerous playmakers like Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and company, but the Bills will more than likely be able to put up enough points to make this a one-sided affair.

Score Prediction: Buffalo 30 Miami 13
