3. Will the Bills be able to generate enough of a pass rush?

The last time these two teams faced each other, it was Zach Wilson under center. Of course, the Bills know they’ll be facing a guy in Mike White who is more apt to throwing the ball deep and letting it loose. This will be a different passing attack from New York’s standpoint, and the Bills should be ready for a few more points scored in this one.

In that first matchup, the Bills were only able to sack Wilson twice all game. This weekend, they’ll also be without team sack leader, Von Miller, who has totaled 8.0 on the year. Instead of relying on one of the game’s best pass rushers, the Bills will be depending on younger guys like Greg Rousseau and AJ Epenesa, who have 5.0 and 4.5 sacks on the season, respectively.

Outside of Miller being injured, the Bills have actually gotten healthier over the past couple of weeks. Getting Tredavious White back on the field is going to help defend a guy like rookie sensation Garrett Wilson, but the Bills still have to get after the quarterback.

Last week against the Patriots, Buffalo was only able to sack Mac Jones once. Now, they dominated the game, so the pass rush wasn’t something the outcome necessarily hinged on. But, only being able to bring Jones down once is alarming, especially considering he isn’t the most mobile of quarterbacks.

Buffalo has to get after White early and often in order to establish their defensive presence. This is, after all, a game of revenge. Buffalo wants to take it by the horns.
