Devin Singletary
One thing that is starting to become a trend is that the Buffalo Bills have found some success on the ground led by Devin Singletary. The Bills running back last week against the Browns had a season-high 86 rushing yards and followed it up in the game against the Lions with 72 rushing yards and an average of 5.1 yards per carry.
This is now Singletary’s third straight game with double-digit carries and the fifth time in the past six games. In those five games that he has double-digit carries, he is averaging 71.4 yards per game and 4.69 yards per carry.
The Buffalo Bills have been trying to find a run game before this stretch and it appears that it has always been there but the coaching staff hasn’t committed to Singletary or establishing the run.
The good news is that heading into the winter months, a run game is going to be vital to the success of this offense. Devin Singletary’s success is coming at just the right time for this team.
