This will also be the second time the Buffalo Bills have played in Detroit in the past four days after last week’s game against the Cleveland Browns was moved to Ford Field due to the snowstorm. The Bills would win that game 31-23 and end a two-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, the Lions are looking to extend their win streak, which currently sits at three games after they beat the New York Giants last week. There is no question that the Lions this year has been much more competitive and certainly could keep this game close.

While this is a game that Detroit Lions could win and the Buffalo Bills shouldn’t take them lightly, the Bills are the more talented team and should be able to build a big lead and keep it to extend their win streak on Thanksgiving.
The Lions have struggled on defense this year and are allowing the most points per game in the NFL at 28.2 points. Meanwhile, the Bills have the second-highest scoring offense in the league with an average of 28.1 points per game.
This looks like a mismatch on paper and when considering Jeff Okudah, the Lions’ top cornerback is out this week, the Lions should have a lot of trouble stopping Josh Allen and this passing game.
As for the Lions’ offense, they have relied heavily on the run game and Jamaal Williams. However, the Bills’ defense is coming off one of their best performances of the season and should be able to continue that success in this game.
A win here should give the Bills the momentum they need heading into a key three-game stretch against AFC East division rivals.
