Buffalo Bills have two interceptions against Jared Goff

Even with all the injuries the Buffalo Bills have dealt with in the secondary, they are tied for the league lead in interceptions with 13 with Jordan Poyer leading the way with four. The Bills this week will face Jared Goff, who recently has been much better at protecting the ball with only one interception in the last four games.

However, prior to that six interceptions in the first six games of the season. The biggest difference is that the Lions have been able to rely on their run game and Goff has been asked to throw the ball much less.

This week, the Bills should be able to get up early and this should result in the Lions having to throw the ball more. If the pressure is on Jared Goff to get the Lions back in the game through the air, the Bills’ defense should be able to force him into some bad throws that they can turn into interceptions.
