The Buffalo Bills once again are back playing in front of a national audience on Thanksgiving. This will be the third time in the past four years and the Bills are hoping to remain undefeated on the holiday after wins over the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.
This year, the Bills are playing the Detroit Lions, who currently have a three-game win streak and have been much more competitive this season. If the Bills hope to end the Lions’ win streak these are five players to watch closely on Thanksgiving.
5 Buffalo Bills to watch in Week 12 against the Detroit Lions
Josh Allen
The first player is pretty obvious as Josh Allen had a bounce-back game against the Cleveland Browns. He didn’t have huge yardage or touchdown totals against the Browns with only 197 passing yards and one touchdown but he ended a three-game streak of two interceptions each game.
Allen has played very well over the years on Thanksgiving and in the two games has combined for 491 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and two interceptions.
This is a game that the Buffalo Bills should win but there is no greater equalizer than turnovers and it will be important for Josh Allen to once again focus on protecting the football. If he limits the turnovers, the Bills should win.
