Incredible performance by the Bills run defense against the Browns

One of the keys to this game for the Buffalo Bills was going to be how they were able to defend the run game of the Cleveland Browns. Entering this game, Nick Chubb was one of the top running backs in the league with over 900 rushing yards.

This certainly was a concern for a Bills’ defense that has struggled over the past three games against the run, especially in the second half of games.

However, against the Browns, even without their starting linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, the Bills defense dominated in this part of the game. The Browns would finish with only 80 rushing yards and Jacoby Brissett accounted for 29 of those yards while Nick Chubb had only 19 yards and an average of 1.4 yards per carry. This was by far Chubb’s lowest total in any game this season.

The Buffalo Bills face another good run game on Thursday against the Detroit Lions but this was a very promising performance from a group that has struggled as of late.
