4 questions for the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns
Will the Bills get key starters back on defense?
The Buffalo Bills have been short-handed on defense for basically the entire season and for the most part done a pretty good job. However, as of late the defense hasn’t played at that same level but hopefully that changes with the potential of a few players returning for this game.
The one notable absence has been cornerback Tre’Davious White, who was added to the active roster at the beginning of November but has been inactive the past two weeks. The former All-Pro is working his way back from a torn ACL and on Monday head coach Sean McDermott said he is not in a “position where he is ready” according to WGR550’s Sal Capaccio.
Based on the forecast, it would be surprising if this is the week for Tre’Davious White’s first game back.
Some players who appear to have a better chance to play this week include Jordan Poyer, Greg Rousseau, and Kaiir Elam who all missed Week 10 but Sean McDermott did say they were improving on Monday. Meanwhile, Tremaine Edmunds left at halftime due to a groin injury and is another player with questions about his availability for this week.
When healthy, the Buffalo Bills have one of the best defenses in the league but will need to get some of these players back to return to that level.
