Buffalo Bills’ offense struggles in the second half
For the third straight game, the Buffalo Bills’ offense was not able to get much going and their opponent was able to get back into the game. In the past two games, the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings have been able to come back and win.
This week against the Vikings, the Bills only mustered six points and had two drives that went three and out and accounted for negative yards. The other five drives ended in two field goals, their only points of the half, but also three turnovers by Josh Allen (two interceptions and one fumble).
Both interceptions also occurred in the end zone and is now the third straight week that Allen has had a turnover in this part of the field. The first interception shouldn’t be as concerning as it was on fourth down and Allen was trying to keep the play alive. The second interception, which essentially ended the game, was one the coaching staff is going to have to address at some point.
