Can the Buffalo Bills end the Minnesota Vikings’ win streak on Sunday?

For the first time in a long time, there are serious concerns around the quarterback position for the Buffalo Bills entering a game. The question is whether or not Josh Allen will be able to play after suffering an elbow injury last week against the New York Jets.

He was unable to participate on Wednesday and Thursday but did get a limited practice on Friday and was listed as questionable for this game. The Bills are likely going to be very cautious with an understanding that the focus is on later in the season and don’t want to risk additional injuries that might keep him out longer.

If the Bills don’t have Josh Allen, it sets up an interesting revenge game for not only Stefon Diggs but also Case Keenum, who would replace Allen at quarterback. Both players were members of the Vikings in 2017 and helped the Vikings win a playoff game that year.

This season, the Minnesota Vikings have been a surprising team with a 7-1 record and winners of their last six. However, the margin hasn’t been huge and a number of those games could have gone the other way.

Final Score Prediction: Buffalo Bills 20, Minnesota Vikings 17

The Buffalo Bills are considered a Super Bowl contender not only because of Josh Allen but there is a belief that they have one of the most complete rosters in the league. This week is a chance for the team to show just that against a quality opponent.

The Bills this week may look to have a more conservative approach and lean on a run game and utilize short passes. This should not only help set up shorter second and third down distances but also can limit the impact of the impressive pass rushers the Vikings have in Za’Darius Smith and Danielle Hunter.

Case Keenum is a veteran quarterback that can certainly manage that part of the game and does a good job protecting the football, which will be a key in this game. The Bills can’t expect to win if they beat themselves with turnovers.

This will be a great test for everyone in the organization from the players to the coaching staff. In the end, the fact that it is a home game gives Buffalo just enough of a boost to secure the win and move to 7-2 on the season.
