Top takeaways from the Buffalo Bills victory over the Green Bay Packers
The Buffalo Bills were back after their bye week and as they did five times over the first six weeks of the season, would come away with a win on Sunday night. This time they would beat the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers by a final score of 27-17.
The Bills would get out to a 14-point lead with touchdowns by Dawson Knox in the first quarter and Stefon Diggs in the second. That lead continued to grow through the second quarter and by halftime were up 24-7.
From that point, the Packers never really made it much of a game as they leaned on their run game. When looking at this game, these are four quick takeaways from Week 8 for the Buffalo Bills.

Teams don’t have an answer to stop this Bills’ pass rush
The Buffalo Bills heavily invested in the defensive line this offseason and it is certainly paying major dividends. On Sunday night, the Bills defensive line was consistently getting pressure on Aaron Rodgers and completely disrupted their offense.
The Bills finished with only two sacks, one by Tim Settle and one by Greg Rousseau, but had two other sacks taken away due to penalties. The pressure they were able to get, combined with the secondary, forced the Packers to completely abandon their passing game, even though they were down double digits for most of the game.
The Buffalo Bills have always wanted to get consistent pressure with just their front four. It is clear they have the talent now, to do just that.
