The Buffalo Bills are off this weekend and enter Week 7 currently atop the AFC with a 5-1 record. While they won’t be able to help their cause this weekend, there are a number of teams across the NFL that if they were to win could help the Bills separate themselves from their division rivals but also other teams competing for that top seed in the conference.

Denver Broncos

Surprisingly over the past three weeks, the New York Jets looks like the team that will be the biggest threat to the Buffalo Bills winning their third straight AFC East title. The Jets currently have a three-game win streak with victories over the Steelers, Dolphins, and Packers.

It will now be the Denver Broncos that will look to end that win streak as the Jets travel to Denver for a 4:05 PM start on Sunday. However, the Broncos have struggled this season and it looks like it will be even tough as their starting quarterback Russell Wilson has been ruled out.

The Broncos will look to Brett Rypien to start this week and if Denver is by chance able to pull out the win it will push the Jets two games behind the Buffalo Bills in the loss column.
