Which players on the Buffalo Bills will benefit the most from their bye week this weekend?

The Buffalo Bills will be off this weekend with their bye week in Week 7. After their 24-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, they are entering their bye week on a high note.

That win over the Chiefs helped the Bills move all the way up to the top spot in the AFC. They now control their own destiny and if they remain in this spot they will have a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

This bye week will now be used to begin preparation for the second half and for some players this can’t come at a better time. These players have been trying to play through injuries and will now get some extra time to rest.

The Buffalo Bills didn’t have many players suffer new injuries last week against the Kansas City Chiefs but one notable player was Spencer Brown. The team’s starting right tackle suffered an ankle injury that forced him to leave in the first half of the game.

He was not able to return and was seen on the sideline in a walking boot. On Monday, head coach Sean McDermott didn’t provide an update other than to confirm it was an ankle injury.

Hopefully, an extra week will give Brown a chance to return as the Bills are set to play the Packers after the bye and will be tasked with slowing down Rashaan Gary. The Packers edge rusher already has six sacks entering Week 7.
