Buffalo Bills defensive line will get after Patrick Mahomes

The Buffalo Bills went out and got Von Miller for this specific situation in getting to Patrick Mahomes. Von Miller and Greg Rousseau will play a huge role in the defensive game plan and they will have to make their presence known right off the bat to disrupt Patrick Mahomes.

The pass rush will be a tough match for the Chiefs to handle with all the depth on the defensive line to give the edge rushers opportunities to tee off on Mahomes. The recipe to slowing this offense down is to make Patrick Mahomes uncomfortable in the pocket and force him to speed up his reads through his progressions.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got after Patrick Mahomes in the 2020 Super Bowl and held the offense to just 9 points with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce in the mix. If the Bills can somewhat replicate this style of play they’ll have a great chance of slowing Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense down.
