Buffalo Bills offensive line must keep Chris Jones in check

Chris Jones is one of the premier defensive players in the NFL and his ability to get after the QB as well as be a huge factor in stopping the run is rare. Chris Jones has 15 QB pressures on the season with 2 sacks and if he can make Josh Allen uncomfortable in the pocket it could be a long night for the Bills’ offense.

Ken Dorsey must make it a staple in limiting Chris Jones’s impact in the game. They might not be able to shut him down but slowing him down ultimately will be essential for how the offense functions.

The Bills need to take the approach they did against Aaron Donald in Week 1 by getting the ball out quickly before he can make a factor in the game. The quick game should be there getting the ball into the hands of Diggs and Gabe Davis in space will be an emphasis in the game plan.

If the Bills can’t keep Chris Jones off balance, he will be a reactive player instead of sitting back and having to read before shooting up the field. With the addition of Carlos Dunlap, Chris Jones has had more one-on-one opportunities and the Bills’ offensive line will have to win to give Josh Allen the time to take his deep shots when they’re open.
