Another chapter in the rivalry between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes

Over the years, the NFL has had some great quarterback rivalries with the last one being Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning. The rivalry between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes looks like it is on its way to being that next great rivalry, if it isn’t already there.

Patrick Mahomes entered the league in 2017 and Josh Allen followed one year later and both players have developed into elite quarterbacks. Patrick Mahomes has had more success early in his career with an MVP award and Super Bowl title but Allen has closed the gap recently when looking at their individual performances.

Since 2020, Allen leads the league in total touchdowns with 104 and this season has more passing yards (1,636) and total touchdowns (16) than Mahomes. When these two quarterbacks step onto the field, it is must-see television and Sunday should be no different.
