Greg Rousseau

Entering this season, there was always the hope that Greg Rousseau would be able to take that next step after a promising rookie season. The team brought in Von Miller to not only be a mentor and leader for the position but also hopefully take some pressure off Rousseau on the field.

Both have appeared to happen and the result has been a very impressive start for Rousseau in Year 2.

Through the first four games, Rousseau has had at least 0.5 sacks each game and in total has four sacks. That matches what he was able to do all of last season. He also has 15 total tackles, five tackles for a loss and six QB hits to begin the season.

While Von Miller will be the player most will talk about, there is a case to be made that Rousseau has been the team’s most consistent player at the position week in and week out. He is able to make plays both rushing the passer but also setting the edge against the run.

It has been an excellent start to the season for Rousseau and the hope will be that he can continue that moving forward.
