Week 4 grades for the Buffalo Bills against the Baltimore Ravens
Special Teams
After his first missed field goal of the season, Tyler Bass bounced back to his automatic self after making both of his extra points and all three field goal attempts, including his first game-winner of his career.
As for Sam Martin, he had three punts against the Ravens which almost matched his season total entering Week 4 (he had four punts over the first three games). He would average 45.3 yards per punt and had a great punt in the fourth quarter that pinned the Ravens at their own five.
Week 4 grade: A+
Final Grade
The start of the game couldn’t have been any worse for the Buffalo Bills as four of their first five drives ended in turnovers or punts. Meanwhile, the Ravens capitalized on Buffalo’s slow start and put up points on four of their first five drives.
The Buffalo Bills showed resiliency though and didn’t panic as they added a touchdown right before the half and carried that momentum into the second half. The fact that the Bills did this on the road against one of the better teams in the AFC is impressive and the way they responded obviously played a big factor in this week’s grade.
Week 4 grade: B+
