Tyler Bass wouldn’t have been in a position to win the game if it wasn’t for Jordan Poyer making big plays in the fourth quarter. Poyer would finish the game with six total tackles, three passes defended, and two interceptions.

The second interception in particular was the one that stood out as the Ravens were in a position to take the lead. They were inside their own five-yard line and decided to go for a touchdown on fourth down.

While the Bills would have gotten the ball, either turnover on downs or on the interception, the fact that Poyer was able to complete the play and secure the interception was key. The reason was that the Buffalo Bills offense got to start the drive at the 20-yard line since it was a touchback instead of inside the five-yard line.

The Bills didn’t have to worry about taking a safety and instead had their entire playbook open to them. It was a great stand by the defense late in the game and Poyer’s interception really set the team up for success.
